WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Summer is here, and while our kitties are loving the warm weather, due to a number of different factors, we’ve seen our donations drop significantly over the past few months. We need your help to continue carrying out our mission; caring for some of societies most vulnerable cats.

OUR MISSION IS THREE-FOLD

RESCUE

We give each cat immediate medical care. Each one is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and rehabilitated physically and psychologically.

We find loving homes for those who can be adopted while the rest live out their lives in peace and dignity as a part of our family.

ADOPTION

Where possible, we try to find good, loving and caring homes for the cats who are deemed adoptable.

Being a private foundation focusing on hard-to-adopt cats, our screening procedures are more stringent to ensure the cats will receive the best care possible.

EDUCATION

We focus heavily on education. We teach compassion and respect while also offering one-on-one advice to cat owners in need. Cat owners are invited to contact us for help.

As a no-kill shelter, we heavily advocate for early spaying and neutering as a solution to overpopulation. We also recommend micro-chipping to help identify lost animals.

WHERE DO MY DONATIONS GO?

Here at the Hervey Foundation for Cats, we care for the sickly, elderly, and destitute cats in society. Animals with no place to go, those with incurable disease, and those living out the rest of their days in a place where they will be loved and cared for in a home setting.

While many cat shelters are based out of commercial properties, with rows of cages to segregate the animals, we bring them together in home where we interact with, and care for, nothing but cats, all day, every day.

When you donate to The Hervey Foundation for Cats, you can rest assured your money is going directly towards the cost of taking care of our kitties. We do not draw a salary from any of our donations, nor do we have employees to pay. It is strictly a volunteer operation.

What do we need money for? Let’s take a look:

  • Food

  • Water
